Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Town & Country Energy Solutions acknowledges the importance of reconciliation.
Town & Country Energy Solutions has been involved in a wide range of services and advice in the LPG industry for 35 years. We have developed a strong corporate ethos around the issues of environment and health and safety. Our interest in environmental issues and our experiences in delivering services throughout NSW and the ACT, have fostered an appreciation for the cultures and knowledge of First Nations Peoples. From this interest, we have come to acknowledge the importance of reconciliation.
We recognise the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate and respect the cultural heritage of First Nations Peoples. We are inspired and encouraged by a number of our clients and customers who have already taken their own steps towards developing a RAP. We aim to collaborate and share ideas and outcomes in order to realise our goals for reconciliation.
Reconciliation is about the strengthening of relationships between First Nations Peoples and non-Indigenous peoples in Australia. We want to contribute to and amplify these efforts to spread awareness of the importance of reconciliation.

Chain of Responsibility
Safety, Training & Compliance
Town & Country Energy Solutions recently held a Safety Meeting with one of the main topics being the Chain of Responsibility (CoR). The goal of CoR is to create a shared responsibility among all parties to enhance safety and compliance in the transport industry.
CoR is a key component of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) in Australia. It emphasizes that safety isn’t solely the responsibility of the driver but extends to all parties involved in the transport supply chain which includes vehicle owners and operators, drivers, load designers, loading managers, consigners and consignees.
The goal of CoR is to create a shared responsibility among all parties to enhance safety and compliance in the transport industry.
Key Components of the COR Safety Training Included:
- Understanding Responsibilities: Clarifying what each party’s responsibilities are within the supply chain. This includes vehicle operators, loaders, consignors and others.
- Communication and Reporting: Emphasizing the importance of clear communication and the need for employees to report safety concerns or hazards promptly.
- Training and Awareness: Ensuring that everyone involved is adequately trained on safety protocols and understands their role in maintaining a safe environment.
- Risk Management Strategies: Discussing how to identify, assess and manage risks related to heavy vehicle operations and supply chain activities.
- Compliance and Penalties: Reviewing the legal requirements and potential consequences of failing to adhere to CoR legislation, including fines and penalties.
- Case Studies and Examples: Sharing real-world examples or case studies to illustrate the impact of effective or poor implementation of CoR practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Encouraging ongoing review and improvement of safety practices to adapt to new risks or changes in regulations.
Our Commitment – TCES has a strong focus on providing a safe work environment which is crucial not just for compliance but for fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the well-being of everyone involved.
